Using IRS data, GuideStar creates browsable profiles for all registered nonprofits. Donors use GuideStar to get up to date information about nonprofits. Join us to learn how to make the most of your organization's GuideStar profile! In this class we will discuss:
- why updating your organization's profile is important
- what GuideStar's seals of transparency are and how they can help your organization
- how to claim your organization's profile
This class is a Funding Information Network mini-class and meet-up intended for nonprofit workers. We will start with 30-minute presentation which is followed by an optional 30-minutes of discussion with other local nonprofit workers and volunteers. Bring questions, projects, problems, and successes from your nonprofit that your would like to share!
