Book Buddies

Calling all children entering grades 1 - 3!  Book Buddies is back!  Pair up with a teen buddy (Grades 6+), choose books, and spend time reading together. Afterward, all book buddy pairs will participate in games & activities.

*Book Buddies is a reading partner program. In signing up your child for this program, you are committing to the entire 6-week series (barring illness or other unforeseen circumstances). Please do not register your child if you are unable to make this commitment.

  • First preference given to residents of Mahopac/Mahopac Central School District.
  • Register for only one Book Buddies class per child. One registration covers the entire series.

All children in 5th grade and under must be accompanied by a responsible adult (over the age of 18) WHO MUST REMAIN IN THE BUILDING FOR THE DURATION OF THE PROGRAM.
