Salome Shakishvili, a Mahopac High School senior and president of the Create the Change Club, will host this Kindness Card making event at the Library. This event was established by The Valentine Project, a non-profit organization that "works to support children from birth to 21 years whose lives are affected by cancer or chronic illness". The organization sends cards to kids in California, Kentucky, and Ohio to help bring them hope and joy as they fight their illnesses. 

Please join Salome to make cards for kids at the Library, or to pick up supplies, make the cards at home, and bring them back to the Library by August 31 to be mailed by the Create the Change Club.

For ages 5 through adult - families are welcome!
