Tom Lindsay and Michael Eck, also known as the Lost Radio Rounders, have been lauded for their work keeping the legacy of American folk music alive.

Their timely and entertaining program, "Politics and Patriots", is a collection of American presidential songs stretching from our nation's founding to F.D.R's four presidential runs. Also included in the program are issue songs from the abolition, suffrage, and temperance movements.  All are set to familiar melodies from the past such as Yankee Doodle, Oh Suzanna, Auld Lang Syne, The Battle Hymn of the Republic, and more!

With "Politics and Patriots" this acoustic duo will gleefully demonstrate that political animus was much more fun when it was sung!

"Politics and Patriots, part 1, can be viewed on the Mahopac Public Library website from October 16-23, and on the Library's YouTube channel (you do not need a YouTube account or subscription to logon to YouTube). Part 2 will be available on the Library's website and YouTube channel from October 23-30.  Both performances will remain on YouTube and can be viewed at any time.
