Make Art from Recycled Plastics!

Do your part to Reduce, Reuse and Recycle by turning plastics into art!  Award-winning artist Natalya Khorover will lead this workshop for kids in grades 1-5.  Before you come, be sure to visit the Third Floor Art Gallery in February to see what Natalya and other artists have created from what would otherwise be trash.

Young artists will be using plastic wrappers and bags donated by our patrons.  PLEASE KEEP THIS IN MIND AND BE SURE TO SAVE YOUR COLORFUL SOFT PLASTICS TO PUT IN THE COLLECTION BOX IN THE LIBRARY LOBBY BEGINNING IN EARLY JANUARY.

Registration required and limited to 12 children.  First preference given to residents of Mahopac/Mahopac Central School District. 

ALL CHILDREN IN GRADES 5 AND UNDER MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY A RESPONSIBLE ADULT OVER THE AGE OF 18 WHO MUST REMAIN IN THE BUILDING FOR THE DURATION OF THE PROGRAM.
