In this class, learn how to claim your nonprofit’s Candid profile and earn Seals of Transparency to amplify your nonprofit’s work and connect with potential supporters.

Covers how updating the Nonprofit Profile will grow an organization’s online identity and share their full story with Candid’s 10 million annual users as well as millions more through 200+ partner sites, including AmazonSmile, Facebook, and Network for Good. Participants are shown how to claim their organization’s nonprofit profile and earn a Bronze Seal of Transparency.  

This class is brought to you in partnership with Candid, a nonprofit that helps other nonprofits serve their communities. As a Candid community member, we offer Candid’s key tools including GuideStar and Foundation Directory. Our patrons can access GuideStar to research local nonprofits to support and to find services. Nonprofits seeking funding can also access Foundation Directory to find and connect with funders.

Upon completion of the course, you’ll learn how to:

• Plan next steps for telling your organization’s story via its Nonprofit Profile.
• Describe how the information in your Nonprofit Profile informs potential donors and funders and powers 200+ charitable sites.
• Explain how earning Seals of Transparency creates opportunities for your organization to be found, grow trust, and share your impact.
